Wandrè was a visionary and an innovator. His revolutionary nature emerges with great strength if you browse the names he chose for some of the most popular models of his guitars, in which he used, often well ahead of the curve, words entered in the history of pop culture. His Piper was born some years before the birth of the eponymous Rome concert hall that made the history of Italian beat music; his Psychedelic Sound went into production just before California Summer of Love started.
This photo gallery displays some of Wandrè guitars offering more pop suggestions, starting with their name. Wandre’s story is told in the book Wandre. The artist of the electric guitar by Marco Ballestri.
