An unprecedented overview on the golden age of car racing in Modena: the decade starting in May 1947 with Ferrari’s victory in the Grand Prix of Rome and ideally ending with the last championship won by Fangio on Maserati in 1957. That extraordinary season revives through a collection of photographs from the RCS Quotidiani Documentation Centre, published mainly in the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian newspaper that dedicated Ferrari and Maserati a series of memorable reportages; those chronicles represent a significant testimony to the history of costume and of Italy at the time.
