The book is the outcome of a meticulous research carried out by Beat-lover Massimo Masini who asked hundreds of friends and acquaintances who were caught by the revolution Beat to bring back to life their memories of the time when they were stomping on the stages of ballrooms and teenager gigs.
The book contains a detailed list of bands, musicians and singers who gave the city of Modena its label of Italian Liverpool in the early 1960s, and finally brings out of the attic an incredible amount of photographs jealously guarded by their owners. The book displays a gallery with more than 500 postcards, posters, records, and above all original photographs.
